Many photos included in COCO carry a non-commercial license or require attribution, neither of which is respected in the use of the dataset. I reverse-engineered COCO to recover the names of the authors, as well as titles and captions of the included pictures.
I dedicate this page to all people whose photos make today's artificial intelligence possible, whose stories — even if forgotten individually — live on in computer models looking at the world alongside with us. ...
